Eventually

Sweet harp dwells in midnight
Awakening faded memory
Eventually
Silent heart promises still under moonlight
Singing an old melody
So hopefully

Without an end
Time flows between tender fingers
Through withered land
Hopes flow turning into silver petals

Upon the shore dwells a melody
Silent song, ancient remedy
To heal old wounds within a broken core

Between the silence and sweet lullaby
We ever long for life in light
Before the world plays another chord
We will sing our own song

Eyes used to light would never learn to see in the dark
So is the heart
Ever longing for the light
It will dwell with the stars through the velvet midnight

As we sing our souls fly
Forever entwined
Beyond the memory of dreams so high

Sweet harp sings through the night
Faded memories fall to sleep
Eventually
Within quivering waves of dear moonlight
I sleep with you dreamlessly
Ever surfing into a fantasy too deep
