Through The Past

Raindrops fall upon the ground
Whisper in leaves with a soothing sound
Like a song dwell their voices

Among the roads memories flow
Verses entwine into a song

From the world I turn my eyes away
Looking back into the awe
Remembering bright sunny days
Ever lost in quivering old

Memories walk alive
Passing fleetingly by
Reviving the past
Opening the scars
Old wounds again to bleed
Through another awake dream

Among the roads all in dust
Lies the path to the past
Never leading back to those times
Ever lost in hidden memory’s eyes

Past will never come back to life
Let it lie in its grace of times
Live now for the real within
Caressing pure love so deep

The wings so white entwine within dear heart
Sweet memories of starlit night
When two hearts were together through the distance so far
