To The Light

The sky fades
Pale grey cascades with twilight
Scent of honey and rain
Flows in the air serene
Like a flight through the mystery
Golden sundown melts like ice
Upon the edge of fading day

With midnight wind flies my song
As chords entwine with verses
To become the whole tale of a symphony
Pure desire dwells in thunderstorm
Where soul longs and burns
Ever belonging to the only memory

You look deep
To see the waves unseen
Within my soul to sink
I sing this song to live

Look, look deep
See the soul of harsh sea
Of ice and snow
Of flames and thunderstorm
I am the one who calls you every night
To return to me through the darkness back to light

Come, come to me
Look into my soul
But with your heart
What do you see?
The moon, the stars or some unknown world
Tell me, I’ll sing you another part
Come back to the light
Come back to me once more
