As We Fly

I see again pre-dawn awe
Covering calm waters in peace
I see the stars resting beyond
As we fly higher
Among the memories
Among the scenery pale
We surf like fire
Upon bittersweet cold of ice
Far above the stars

We surf and I see
The pale memory of me
Hidden still underneath

We fly and I feel
Your touch on my skin
Like tender whisper of wind

Like sunlit kiss, moonlit veil
You drink it deep
My memory so pale
Though until the end I see
All past ages singing to fade

Once a millennium the world dies
Falling into winter and rises reborn
With first spring tides
Over again until reviving dawn

As we surf above I see
Ages passing by me
But there is no sorrow within
As you are near finally
