Hope Beyond The Wind

Wind is blowing
Chasing the clouds across pale sky
Heavy raindrops are falling
On frozen ground all covered with ice

Wind sings still
Behind an open window
In green leaves of old willow
Memories are dead within

Grey clouds flow across pale sky
Leaving icy ponds on cold ground
Stars flicker above in dark midnight
Singing so high, dwelling in perfect sound

Starlit lullaby flows through the silent wind
Heart dwells with its silver core
Wrapped in dreamy warmth
Memories are gone with pale morning

Hope was then too thin
Dear heart so full of dreams
That part had no chance to win
A hope beyond the wind

Among the stars lives a hope
The one that lightens my way
Guiding to the right shore
Away from all that dark game
