You don’t see
You are not here
One hundred years
Dwell on my threshold
Silent whisper, silent call
Lifetime dwells in a moment so fleeting
Within untold promise deep in core
Sharp edges of memories cut into my flesh deep
Making me feel the one with my soul
I see them wandering
I see them passing by
Like shadows in the night
They are slowly fading
Remember the dream I told you once
You still see it in eyes of ocean blue
A promise, a memory written beyond the stars
A poem of youth, a tale of you
Dwells told within broken but loving heart
You healed it twice
Don’t break this time
But forget of it now
Let this sunrise heal both of us
After that long, long flight
The rain brings tears no more
As we are again on this shore
Together forever more, like it once was
