Through the ages you swear
To be the one
Through all these years
To be the one by my side

But will it be so?
Will you go
With me hand in hand through this lifetime?
Will you be the only one?
You never know
You promise, but you do not know
What awaits us tomorrow
Still you swear you will be the one for me
Through the years I know
These promises are nothing but pain and agony
They are empty
But life goes on
No matter how bad it hurts
Will I be forever yours?
You never know
Wherever it may go
Will we take different paths tomorrow
Or two paths make into one only road
We never know, but time will show
