Not A Dream

I’ve read thousand stories about you
Them all I’ve read over and over again
To know the truth in the end

Stories, they were written so long ago
In the world we used to call home
Stories we sang through midnight awe
Dancing among the stars high above

Read the verses, whisper my name
The first one who called me that way
In midnight dance we shared with a dream
When the stars started falling

Years ago
So far from this world
Or just another age
We shared chords
We sang our own verses
Years and years ago

Now it all became a story written on idle pages
No truth left for me and you
Beyond empty and rare lines after long ages
But is it true?

I feel, but do not see you
Come, show me it is real
Tell me I’m not insane, it’s not a dream
