All The Dreams

Another year, another day
A different path, a different way
Entire life passed by, we could say

Yet memories dwell
Like tolling bell
Reminding me of something none could tell

The wind, the sun, the moon and stars
I was them all but once
I saw the dream, I touched it deep
And read the future in child’s sleep
I knew the tale of centuries
I was all those memories

And now the time passed by
No dreams awake my mind
The wind talks to me no more
At this grey misty shore

We dream, but not like then
There is no calling bell
No tale to tell
No story now left here to dwell
For every heart
That longs to highest art

We write our dreams, but sing them not
To keep for us and us alone
I love to dream still through memories old
Even through that pain they made me to go

I write them down still
I sing them all with the wind
All the dreams I dream
