Comfort In Silence

I don’t need no piece of advice
No regret, no support
Comfort lies in silence
No word could heal the hollow inside

Hatred is no help, not rage
Filling hollow heart, bringing to the edge

Show me some mercy in silent ballroom
Pure and fragile
Tender silence of midwinter silver bloom
A loveletter to an exile
Give me something to live for
Before the moment is gone

Show me some empathy
Before we fall
This moment is eternity
A sip of air, a touch of hope
Sweet memory, pure light in eternal gloom
A touch of delight, whisper of youth

Show me mercy
Show me some comfort of silence
Erase the memory
Of solitude so deep, boundless

Comfort of silent empathy
It’s all I need
Nothing more, but a little hope
