Childhood

Sweet violin whispers through the night
Flowing with long gone memories through pale moonlight
Orchestra of silence dwells behind
While everyone sleeps still
Before the dawn awakens from its dream

Melody of heart-warming past
Of all the sunsets by the fire
Of all the days that passed
Memories of sweet childish desire
To become more than the world
More than all the dreams could hold

Chords dwell in night silence
Like whisper of the wind in silver bells
A dream so hopeless
To come back to those golden days
When the world was brighter, still new
Sweet moments of careless youth

Raindrops call, singing along with the wind
Violin still caresses its sweet midnight song
Warmth in the heart, bittersweet dream
Of something untouched yet long gone
A dream of a hope

Silent wish upon a falling star
Beating still with my heart
Never dying hope, faith and awe
Notes care it all within
Deep purity of the sounds
Close your eyes and you will see
The world I saw once
