Thirteen Years

One moment to face the real
From someone to hear
That you are gone
Even though
I bear a hope

Thirteen years I’ve been waiting
My search never ended
Seeking your soul I found only ruins

Day by day, month by month, year by year
Wandering everywhere
That path lead me to you

One moment and the life turns to ashes
One sigh of wind and there is nothing
But faded memories
Still alive deep within

It is not a memory
Not daydream fantasy
It is you, I feel

Thirteen years passed by
Before that night
Heart dwells in hope
While the flute sings a song
I played for you once

Thirteen years of waiting
Loneliness and pain
Now you are here
I won’t let you go away
