Mid-autumn Lullaby

In the midnight mirror I see
Shade silhouette under blooming tree
Though the midnight lullaby I hear
The voice of all the past years

That memory walks with me all the time
From shadowless youth to the dark yesterday
Singing in the echoes of the night

I hide, but it follows me with a loyal shadow
Through the night to the dawn
The memory of long gone past
Haunting my heart with old fears to the last

Listen to the echo
Hear the call
Hopes dwelling in awe
Are now forgotten in despair
Of so many years

Lost in this empty looking glass
Who am I now?
Shadow of starless night

Hear my call, my silent song
Wherever you are just find me
Follow the voice breaking with hope
Heal me, only you can do it

Listen to the echo
Hear the call
Hopes dwelling in awe…

Through the mid-autumn night
I sing my hoping heart in this lullaby
Bearing within a memory of unwritten times
A child I still can see in your shiny eyes
