From Spring to Autumn and Back

Petals flow in the air with pink and silver
Dwelling for spring to come
Like a silent song
Like a breath of first warmth
Sweet kiss promises to end the pain forever

Flute sings in the wind
Telling the tales of long forgotten love
Wind weeps for a dream
That reminded of the one
Living still beyond time

Never forlorn, never gone
Ever blooming love

Petals turned to fallen leaves
Sweetness became bitter on lips
Shadows cascade upon dear memories

Autumn took away all the warmth
Like one beat took away all heart longed for

Years ago another flute sings in the wind
Embracing wounded and torn soul with hope
Is it a dream?
Is it real?
How it could all turn out so
Never really matters, but him

Sweetness of spring blossom dwells on lips
With untold promises of lost memories
Winter cold falls with tender petals
Covering and healing a hoping heart
Ever beating with kindness and love

Flute sings with guqin in the night
Taking away all unshed tears and pain
All the sorrows flow away from the heart
As love is here breathing again
