Wild Heart

Deep waters seem still and calm
None could ever deny
It’s true what they see
But a wild heart is what it used to be

Still beating
Keeps on dreaming
A wild heart is what it is

They used to call me a geek
Shy and cute, I wish it were true
Come closer and you could see
What was seen by a few

Wicked smile, spark in blue eyes
Sweet whispers and silent lullabies
Words that never were a lie

An angel
For someone
Cold danger
For another
A dream or a beast
You can choose what you’ll get
A lover or a disaster

A wild heart longs for long journeys through life
Playing hide and seek with time
With burning eyes and the brightest smile

Catch me up, don’t let fall
Before the moment is gone
Burn me up with one call
Let’s entwine in a pure song
Heart of wild and innocent soul
