Stonehearted

When the sunset falls
Take my hand and lead me to rest
Until the morning comes
Upon the northern coast

Living as our hearts are made of stone
We walk our road
Like years of youth are gone
Make me believe I never was alone

Take my hand when I doubt
Catch me when I fall
Embrace me when I’m down
Be there for me when I call

Silent resort to hide and heal my wounds
When I have no place to go and need a home
The only bay of calm and warmth

Living as our hearts are made of stone
We walk through the storm
Like nothing else can hurt us to the core
Like there is still a hope
To live, to be loved and love
Like there are still pages unknown

Bring me the reason to rise
Another morning is worth fighting for
Tell me what you see in my eyes
Is there still a spark of hope?

Take my hand and bring me home
I have no place to go
You are my new dawn
My sweet dream and reason to move on
