Tell Me, Darling

Early wake-up, black coffee and go
Away from sleepy dreaming of hopes
We are still growing
Like wondering kids

Late talks, silent touches and sweet dreams
Like none is watching while we sleep
We play cool and believe that we are
Before the play goes wrong in the second part

Denying we’re lying
To ourselves first
Then to the world
Trying and fighting
For the only truth
We’ve been through

Silent dream awakens the memory
I thought it was lost forever
It belongs to the pages of old diary
I used to write so many a year

Now my path took me another turn
Making me wish for another tomorrow to come
Before this nightmare takes my heart
Let me believe the hope isn’t gone

Tell me here it’s silent
Tell me there is no sound of alert
As I’m lost in darkness
Dear, I’m lost in silence
Don’t let me burn, don’t let me burn

Tell me, darling, I’m not going crazy
Just a little bit dizzy
Sing me a lullaby to make me asleep
I just need some rest, so let me dream

Darling, caress my hair
While I’m sleeping near
Let me walk in the dream
Resting upon your chest so dear

Tell me it’s safe here
Tell me I’m alright
There left no fear
I’m but too tired
Let me rest on your shoulder
A little bit more
