Dream Worlds

There are so many worlds
Entwining in our dreams
Unpredictable, unknown
Sending sparkles and thrills
Through my spine and heart

Silent whispers, sweet lullabies
Innocence in wide-open eyes
The world was still beautiful like paradise

Another dream is but an echo
Of untold thoughts and feels
Secret kiss of memories and awe
Where we were so young, just kids
And knew no pain, no harm

Wooden toys, chocolate ice-cream and the stars
Sweet kiss of memories beyond ever faded sunrise
Everything is withering with the first tear of lies

A hoping heart needs to believe
There is truth in words gone in time
Not only empty promises and fear
Reflecting in a teary eye

We wonder in dreams
Yet seeking the real or a reflection of memory
Without bitter tears
We seek love within like a remedy
To cure every scar so deep
