My Own Delirium

Writing every verse like confession
I hope for redemption
Once again to feel free
Just to find the real me

Poems of true love
Written upon my veins
I carve them deep falling down
Through my lonely days
Wandering across the world like blind
Lost in my own delirium I forget about time

Before the mountains fall
Write but only one word
Before I break myself into pieces
For all my dreams and secret memories

Verses and chords
Flowing from the heart
Reverbating echoes
They dwell deep inside

Every secret I keep
They would never see
Every true word they would never hear
As I promised myself to hide it deep

Every feeling, every unshed tear
They won’t see, won’t hear my cry
Before the only one stays near
To comfort me and hold tight

Poems of true love
Written upon my veins
I carve them deep falling down
Through my lonely days
Wandering across the world like blind
Lost in my own delirium I forget about time

Far away through the darkest void into the light
I lie here awaiting for better times to come…
