Thirst

It dwells in me, living deep in me
Tearing apart all the humanity
Blurring last drop of reality in me
Dark and cold thirst deep inside
Deep within my heart

It’s in my blood
Calling, howling
Weeping and screaming
In my veins so cold
Through the times old
Since the beginning of the world

Ancient curse resting still
Until your warmth is apart
But the feel, the dream and the thrill
Never sleeping in my heart

It’s in my blood
Tearing and dreaming
Crying and dying
In my heart so cold
Under this curse of the world

Chained in this prison
All alone and forgotten
I feel like it’s dying deep in me
The heart while the thirst is growing

Ancient curse resting still
Until your warmth is right here
Beating above my heart
Never ever apart

It’s in my blood
Calling, howling
Weeping and screaming
Thirst in my veins so cold
Through the times old
Since the beginning of the world

It’s in my blood
Calling, howling
Weeping and screaming
Thirst in my veins so cold
Through the times old
Since the beginning of the world

Cold Snowland Bound

I walked into the dark to find the truth
I sacrificed a heart and now I’m in that gloom

Silently suddenly being all alone
Broken and lonesome
Melody of memory is forever gone
I walk this way alone

In the snow I found a broken dream of heart
It wept and smiled at me
Touched every wound deep within

In the river I saw stars, sky shining gold
They greeted me with their light
Innocently pure and white

In the wood I met winter wind
Cold and proud looking at me
Eyes so silver and pure
Face so dear smiling at me

Child of Mother Nature
Love of the night, passion of moonlight
Dreamer of life lost in this world
Storyteller, magician, master of rapture
My only path to the Heaven

Silently suddenly being all alone
Broken and lonesome
Melody of memory is forever gone
I walk this way alone

I walked into the dark to find the truth
I sacrificed a heart and now I’m in that gloom

Kissing my neck every dream or nightmare
Or biting deep drinking my heart right from the vein
Following me through the distance and time
Or haunting me across the land of dreams

I walk into the dark to find you
I sacrifice a heart and now I’m in this gloom
In this cold snowland bound

Awake In Maze

Through the midnight
For the farthest point of journey
To the light, to the highest star
Through the coldest winds
To the lost day of faraway

One final step into last illusion
One touch, the last kiss before the final destination

Dawn of dreamy-eyed tomorrow
Love of life, lust for night
December nights long flowing with tears sorrow
New age will enter child’s heart

Through the midnight lights
For the lost innocent pride
Through the long winter nights
For another place to hide
To break the world
To awake in lost cold

Into a pale fearless memory
Dear child of frost
Through the dreamless night’s agony
Long years flow lost

Through the midnight lights
For the lost innocent pride
Through the long winter nights
For another place to hide
To break the world
To walk through this midwinter maze

Heart Of Flame And Snow

In a cold black mirror

Darkest bound
Long lost and alone
On the frozen shore
Like in another world
I’m watching you through the mist of cold
I don’t want to be here
I want to feel warmth
I want to breath air so cold
Just to feel alive
Save me from myself
Embrace me and hold away from cold
Take my breath
Just I beg you don’t let me fall into this dark world
In a white cover of glow
On the carpet of snow
Drawing with streams and rivers in flow
Away from the gloom
Away from darkness and cold
Turning back to this bright light world
I want to feel warmth
To sleep in safe
I want to lie in your arms
And feel alive
Heart of flame and snow
Soul of fire and ice
Path from Hell to paradise
One way away from dark cold
For the heart of flame and snow

Snowstorm

Last night like a fall into a snowstorm
Frozen cry through the mirror of coming dawn
Shadows and whispers reflecting in lost memory
Not now, no time won’t be a remedy

I’ve tried to break the curse
Still lying on me
I’ve tried to run away
Across the memory
But there is no bridge over the abyss
No rope, no sign, no path to forgotten bliss
Only untouched dream breathing with warmth
And a soul used to live in this ever told cold

In the end of this road
We all will find truth untold
But written once so long ago

In the end of this path
We will find that missing part
Of once cold broken heart

Running through a snowstorm
To the end of the world

Don’t forget the sign of my star
Let it shine for you through the dark
Don’t miss the voice of my name
Awakening your deepest memory
Don’t ever let the pain
Break your heart’s melody

Running through the snowstorm
None will survive
But still in the end under shade of dawn
We will rise alive
Hand in hand, heart by heart
We will follow another dreampath

Follow my lost star
It’s shining for you in the night
Through the clear dark sky
After a snowstorm till the cold winter morn…

Come, Dream, Come…

Come one winter morn
With a cold snowy dawn
Come, dream, come

Come to me in a dream
So I could see, so I could feel
Your deepest wish, your silent thrill
Come to me in a dream

Hold me in your arms
And never let go
Walk with me through the stars
To the lands of cold North

Come to me one winter morn
Untouched veil covered innocent hands
Child’s footprints on white snow
Shining path to the far lands
Oh, come, dream, come
And take me home

Come one winter morn
With a cold snowy dawn
Come, dream, come

Into A Dreamless Shade

Silent night around my heart
Immortal restless journey
Neverending road, endless path
Misty dark way to the hidden hideaway

Candlelight sleeps in the night
Before the one last ride
Walking in burning sky
Hiding a tear in my eye
Saddest times will pass by
With first song of nightingale
Into a dreamless shade I’ll dwell

While spring hasn’t come
While winter kingdom slowly dwells in cold
Footprints on white cover of snow
Silver path of frozen dawn

Candlelight sleeps in the night
Before the one last ride
Walking in burning sky
Hiding a tear in my eye
Saddest times will pass by
With first song of nightingale
Into a dreamless shade I’ll dwell

Child of ever ride
Dreamer of the last hope
My home lies in the tide
It’s time to cut the rope
And fly…

Candlelight sleeps in the night
Before the one last ride
Walking in burning sky
Hiding a tear in my eye
Saddest times will pass by
With first song of nightingale
Into a dreamless shade I’ll dwell

Snowdance In My Head

A starfall bound
Cold snowflake on my palm
Melting streams, pure dear dreams
Winter magic flows all around

Silent melody, call of destiny
Whisper of life
One only kind touch
A silver kiss on my trembling lips

Snowdance above my head
A cold wintersong through the heart
Sleeping tight in my soft bed
Calling one only name deep in my mind

Snowdance above my head
Warmth by the hearth
Resting calm in soft bed
Memories flow through your heart

A star in far northern sky
A snowflake on my palm
Twinkling lights upon the night
We’ll meet one day
Wherever you are, wherever I am
We’ll find the way…

Part 26. Through the woods, over the hills and to the dragon’s heart

The way was long and hard, but the adventures are so — they lie in the depth of cold caves, in the dark of wood, deep on the bottom of the sea…

So, Kaija and Teller went North, back to the land where they came from, to the land where Kaija’s heart had been belonging to for all those years.
They were on the road four days and nights. She went ahead like a queen of all elves and dwarfs, of earth and skies. She walked noiseless like a nightcrawler, without any sound like wind playing in a field.
Her eyes watched through the darkest night like in a daytime and she could see every tiny thing and heard every noise of wind or the smallest creature.

Teller saw her figure before him. She walked carefully and confidently, the true one, the real one.
‘She is the Queen of that kingdom…’ — thought he deep inside where she couldn’t hear him. At least he hoped so. She heard but didn’t ask anything. Not now.
They should find the Moonpath before the tomorrow sun would set.

— How far is the Northern way? The one that’s leading through Devil’s Hills? — asked she closing her eyes to see the ancient map again.
— Right behind Oaken Oaths. You know that place…. the lake. — said Teller looking at the twisted path running West and South. — The Western one. I’ve been here long time ago, but I still remember every path leading there… back home. You should see this land. You will love it…
She turned to him and looked deep in his eyes. Kaija smiled at him kindly and softly.
He forgot this glance, the sight full of tenderness and dreamy wishes. He took her hand and embraced her tight. He missed her in his arms…

— Be always here, right by my side.  — whispered she into Teller’s ear.

Way Back Home

Through the days an endless journey
To reach the lands so far
To get the dreamless high star
To take back all
What was once gone

Through the hills and fields
A long road runs
To the sparkling rivers and streams
To the high withering dreams
Above the mountains high

Over the edge, over the bridge
Homeland left far behind
Our road is long
To the long lost gold

Treasures so shiny, caves dark and deep
A lonely mountain along the dragon’s sleep

Far below a path runs home
Through the woods and rivers and dawns

A song of home, a long lost home
Old time once gone into frozen cold
So far we are from the land of snow

Through the hills and streams
Through the high pale mountains
Over the ancient dreams
Across the midnight rivers and moonlit paths
We are coming back to the land of cold
We are coming home
