Ethereal

Above the fire of time
Tiny spark dances in the sea of life
Circling for ages above
Like an eternal dream of love
It longs for times long gone

Ages passed by
A tiny spark still hopes through time
For a chance to live one life
With the one who still lives deep in heart

We hope and live for a moment of love
One spark, one fleeting blink
Not to regret drowning sorrows in wine
We desire to make a dream real

Dancing above the fire of time
We dream of deep love
Climbing higher than high
We reach the sky
Flow through the cloudy sea
To touch the heart of eternity

But is this real?
Just another race to catch the wind
Try after try we fall down to reach high
Leaving lives behind

I dream beyond a dream
To find you in this sea of life and memory
Awaken from restless mare and awe
To touch your heart and soul

I believe you will read this
One day before sleep
Before midnight sweet kiss

I believe you will see what is hidden
And feel every word is true

You will see
Every rhyme, every line
You will see
Every word of love
Is full of life

Open your heart to see
The truth lies in between
A dream and real

It’s only a fantasy…

A midnight scream
Awakening from the sweetest dream
To face pale reality again

Day after day
I pretend everything’s okay

None can see
None can care less
None will ever feel
Any pain, any sense
I hide behind a mask of cold
Hiding precious and dear from the world

You became my fantasy
Sweetest pleasure and agony

Within my heart just a fantasy
Parallel reality
My faith, hope and love
Beating still with your heart

Day after day

Hiding every dear emotion behind a senseless façade
Only few can see the truth
Looking at thousand of faces

Pale moon looks down into my window
After a glass of wine I ask where to go

If we are meant to meet in this life
I do not know

I keep on asking through the night
Where are you, my soul

Sad rhyme from my heart flows over the mountains
High and far

Over the deep rivers and distant dales
Where you are

My heart forever goes
To reunite with yours

Visions

Day by day visions are getting closer
More true, more real
Not the shadows anymore
But wearing familiar faces
That look down to me

In the dreams I call you and you come
Embracing me, holding me tight
So all the fears and nightmares are gone
Till the morning comes with cold breath of the wind

You are so far in this reality
No recognition in your eyes
Or so I believe

There are miles and hours between us
And thousands years apart

But a red thread connecting two souls never tears
Running through all these long years

Will you notice me when we meet
Or just pass by as if I am nothing
A pale shadow of the past?
Will you look at me with a smile
And a spark of recognition in your eyes?
Will you talk to me as I am someone special, as I am the one?

I whisper with a prayer your name every night
Caressing a hope within my heart
That one day we will meet
And you whisper to me silently “我爱你。”

The door is closed before the darkness falls
Sparkling drops knock on the window
I look at them without knowing what to do

That hot sunny June

Home is far away and the road so long is ahead
Another chapter of life has begun

The story is written from the start to its very end
I see what is up to happen like it’s the past long gone

The circle of life spins and its story never changes

Your own reflection is all that you see
