From my hoping soul
I cannot move on, cannot go on
Days are all grey, sky is pale
When you are so far
When you are away
I fear to go out without your hand holding mine
I’m afraid of the darkness around me, coiling around my heart
I fear to fade away while you sleep tight
I’m afraid of the silence dwelling through the time
Move my fears when I’m scared
Move my tears when I cry
Erase those moments when I couldn’t dare
To say what I feel
I only lie frozen on cold ground
Dreaming of storytime and river ghosts
I only lie in the deepest sleep
Hoping that you are near with me
Holding my hand so dear
