Rhymes Through The Veins

Touch my cheek, move cold tear
Catch my breath while I’m here
Take my hand, just don’t let go
That everything we lost before

Don’t make me think it was in vain
The sight, the night, rhymes through my veins
Don’t make me fade in dawn again
Vanishing, withering, slowly fading
With one last chance, in one last dance
Don’t make me feel it was in vain
The tears, the call, the pain

Through the miles and time
I wonder if you are alright
Every night I wonder why should I cry
Thinking of you became a crime

Don’t make me think it was in vain
The sight, the night, rhymes through my veins
Don’t make me fade in dawn again
Vanishing, withering, slowly fading

The one to make me feel like a girl in rags
While others made me a frozen queen
The one to make me believe in my tomorrow
While the world wrote my wish not to live

Don’t make me think it was in vain
The night, the dream, the cry through the crowd
Don’t make me think I will feel again
For someone else, just turn around
I cannot rise without your hand
Don’t make me feel again that pain

Poison in veins, sweet death in blood
Last petal of life around my chest
Coiling around my heart
Calling me into the darkness

Poison in veins, sweet death in blood
Last breath of life through my memory
For the one last chance to kiss the heart
And fade away without a shade of regret
Forever in the dreamless vanity
