Once Back Home

Flow, dear song, flow
To every home
Through the fields and dales
Sending wishes, saving the tales
From the heart to the love apart
Bearing a dream
Along with hope

Burning inside, keeping heart in cold
Fire and ice
Desire in eyes
Sparkling tear upon the verse still flowing untold

Flow, dear song, to every home
Bearing the dreams
Lighting the heart with hope

Heart sees where eyes are blind
Leading me across silver waters
To the feast of starlight
Lines show the way far across the waves

Flow, love, flow
To my once lost home
Resting far beyond
The fields and the sea
Beneath the horizon dreaming still

With the last sundown beam new moon will be born
Silver waves flowing with time, years of mine own
Tears turn loose the song chocking deep in me flowing once back home
