I see it’s falling
The promise undone
You gave once to me
Do you remember the eyes
Where you hid the stars
Falling drops of tears I hide within
In a dream of moonlit night
I hold a memory
Of life and tide
Far above dark midnight fantasy
Beneath light meadows of life
Coiling still all around me
In another divine pure sea
Within an innocence hidden
Eternal feast of starlight
Beyond the dales of believing
I draw bright blue sky
Singing in silver glow of cold moon
I write the memory so pure
Forgiving the lies for a cure
I drink from the streams of sweet blue
In horizon’s dream I see
A lonely sight
Arrogant and proud eyes are watching me
Through the veil of moonlit night
Dreaming of one desire of all
Into midnight to fall
While I sing lost elven lullaby
Still I flow with pale blue-and-grey eyes
Far across deep restless sea
To enter the realm unseen beyond the tideline
