There I Will Endure

Among the trees where darkness reveals
The simple truth hidden beneath
Lingering still in the shadows

The path leading me across the fields
Of golden morn quivering deep

In the moment unseen
Slowly luring me to fall into a memory
I will never open again
For no pain
Suffering in vain

Fireflies glitter in the grass
As I walk among the trees

The moon is high above the wood
So the path runs over the midnight world

I follow the song of the wind
Taking me to the realm of my dreams
Lost or hidden
Still alive, silently breathing
Concealed from their sight
It lives among that pure starlight

I fall into a dream
Searching for truth ever sacred
My guide takes me deep

Leading me astray
To the only gates
To the lands of his concern
Where I can breathe and live
He takes me there to free
From eternal suffering

I belong to the heart of the light
Searching for last shelter in the night
Resting deep in moonlit sight of starry eyes

Beyond the ancient spells and starlight pure
One only kingdom to live
One only place to feel free
There in that kingdom I will endure
