It all will fade…
The home left behind
Far away at the end of the world
Resting silently behind the door
Among the thorns the path goes on
Deep in the sea
Sinking with memory
I walk to touch a dream
Shining still above the horizon
Through the shade
All memories walk awake
Beneath the stars the road runs on
Sparkling above
Time is never enough
To say words of love
Until the sun gets lost beyond the horizon
Before it fades the heart will cry
Until all tears dry at the edge of the sky
I know the last one falls
Into dream’s call
Beyond the horizon red
Sinking in the sundown veil
Your voice comforts the heart
With midnight lullaby
A song of long-forgotten home
In the other part of the world
Drying the tears, healing the scars
All memories turned now to the stars
All nightmares and gloomy tales
They all will fade
Into the shade
