You And I

You and I
Caress a song through the sky
Singing it to northern wind

We both knew the tale
Yet decided to pretend
That there’d be no pain
No tears and torn world in the end

You and I
Lie looking deep in eyes
Trying to believe

We knew the story
Through never cried
We knew this destiny
Yet followed again the fate through life

Once upon the bloodred sundown
Pure reviving dawn will rise
There is no pain, no tears, no broken world
Only a dreamful sigh
Restlessly drawn from red lips
To caress all old dreams
Never spoken to anyone

The light will shine once more
Whispering with the wind at your door
Singing you verses of beautiful unfallen world
As we dreamed long ago

You and I
Sing again through the sky
Caressed by silver moonlight
