Dawn

Above the ages cold
Now torn
As the world is never the same
Old times flew away
With silent morning wind

I see the dawn
Upon the sleeping world
The sun of gold reminds me
Of times long gone

A dream in eyes
Whisper of love on lips
I drown mesmerized
In your lullaby you sing
To me every night

Through years long
I caress every memory of you
The loving glance and dear smile
And bright spark in eyes
The way you look
So thoughtfully sometimes
I adore the most

Among the days so long
I wait and hope
You will find the way home
And we’ll meet another dawn
