Guests

Striding all over the world
Seeking the way back home
We are just guests on this earth

We hope to find the right path
That will lead us to the door
Where we can rest by the hearth
And stay in this warmth

Please, tell me, there is such a place
In this dark and cold world
Where I shouldn’t hide my face
And feel myself home

Striding all over the world
Seeking the way back home
We are just guests on this earth

I see in their eyes
Full of darkest lies
Ocean of hatred but why?
I sense in their smiles
False kindness and cold of ice
Still cannot get why

Ever-lasting parade
Of hypocrisy and pretending
Lost in-between love and hate
They dream of slaying

Tell me there is a place
To hide and rest
Where nothing else matters

Tell me I’ll find this place in the world
Where I can feel safe and warm
The place I can call home
