Drowning Alone

So you feel touch of cold upon your temple
So soft and tender, like kitten’s paws
Though dangerous making you tremble
All these empty nights and lonely dawns

Every touch of real makes you feel
Like being buried alive
And you lie awake in your thrill
While silence dwells between the lines

No memories can save you from yourself
Thoughts whirl deep inside
And you drown deeper with every step
Losing the right path
Sinking in your own mind

Silently breaks another dawn
But the still of your fear is brighter
Washing away the colours of the world
As I recognize myself in this storyteller

Slowly drowning alone
Right on the shore
I still hope for pure love
To save my broken soul
