“Cold and dark. Just christmas lights are sparkling near. Still looking weird in the beginning of March, but I love their shining. I cannot sleep because of different thoughts flowing in my head.
Why is it always so hard just to throw everything away from my mind and just relax?
Counting days makes me nervous and worried but still a bit happy. Maybe something could change.
I don’t know. I never could be sure about anything, only if the heart tells that it’s right.
It stopped snowing finally. Snow in the beginning of spring isn’t very nice thing when you want some warmth after cold winter. Now only dark sky covered with clouds which hid all the stars from my eye. Silent night.
Even too silent.
Still… heart’s missing. I know what exactly it needs, but it doesn’t depend on me anymore now.”
Lines in the diary became shorter. She was thinking about her last words. Heart’s missing. That was truth, it really was missing. And it was too obvious.
“Why is it always happens to me… I don’t want anything.. just to feel alive again.”
‘Well, maybe it’s enough for tonight’ – thought she closing her diary.
Thoughts made her sad. Thoughts made her so pretty often, but she didn’t show it. She tried to hide her emotions and feelings from everyone, so only close friends could know about it all. But not so much, they even couldn’t imagine what could hide in that odd mind.
Riita had a small medallion where she kept a little photo. She was lying in bed and looked deep into those eyes calling her, seducing her and burning up her heart. ‘Too many series about vampires, too many books about vampires..’ – thought she imagining him as a vampire biting her at night. ‘Or too many coffee in the late evening…’
She was waiting. She wanted to talk.. Just to anyone. She needed to talk to someone, because if she didn’t she would feel even more terrible than it was now. But still none was there…
She felt like she was falling asleep. Slowly sleepy fog embraced her and took with it to the land of dreams and the deepest wishes. Only there Riita saw the shadow that made her come closer… She couldn’t resist and didn’t want to. He was calling her, luring her, taming her with one only look. And this deep blue sea widing in his eyes made her just a silent drop fallen in those calm waters.
Embrace was warm like a dawn in the end of June. Again this glance that she could see only in a dream.
4 AM. She looked at the clock and groaned. ‘Why so early?!’ – thought she slowly remembering her dream.
