I’m praying still just hear me

A swan pale white she came to him
Wrote a verse on his door
Painted the porch with bright snow
Awakening of his memory, dearest relief

Silent whisper, child’s weep
Forgotten awe, sweet taste of wonder
Voice of dark ancient symphony
Dearest dreams risen from an ocean deep

His deepest wish, a burning desire
Dream’s drunken kiss taking him higher
One last breath of their dearest faith

In the ocean deep I see the reflection

Once I saw a dream
Innocent and pure it shadowed in snow
I touched it calm, I breathed it in
Caring it still, holding so dear its white paw

Hope is my guide
To the purest light
Hiding beneath frozen blue sky

Dare to dream and you will see

Cold stars took all pain of past betrayals
